World Theatre was opened in Rjukan in 1912. People's House cinema was already established in 1910.
World Theatre moved into the house Rjukan in 1935. The cinema was fully renovated in 1990/91. The cinema has 153 seats. Annual shown that approximately up to 500 performances.
